During our stay, we faced some unexpected difficulties, and the team went above and beyond to assist us by willingly offering practical solutions, checking in to ensure we were okay, and even extending small but meaningful gestures of care. Their genuine compassion turned what could have been a stressful situation into a manageable and even uplifting experience. In particular, we would like to thank both Caitlyn and Jo for their kindness and assistance. This culture of exceptional care among the staff was further evident when we returned to the hotel a few weeks later. We were greeted like old friends, with a warmth and familiarity that made us feel truly valued. The staff’s commitment to outstanding service was reaffirmed just last week when I received a parking notice from the private company managing the hotel’s car park. A quick call to the hotel was all it took – Jo, the receptionist, assured me the charge would be cancelled immediately. The location of this hotel is excellent and walking distance to the river walk. The buffet breakfast was very good (variety of food) and I was pleased that they switched our "noisy" room to a much quieter area of the hotel that had the view of the river and spacious. The host were very friendly, and accommodating to our needs. I had to use a mobility scooter to get around and the hotel stored the scooter and charged the battery. Both rooms were clean and smelled good. Both rooms were fully equipped with essentials like, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, etc. This hotel is only two blocks away from the train and bus station.

Great location, right in the centre with a view over the river and an exit onto church street. The bed was large and comfortable.
